KeyResponsibilities
Youwillberesponsiblefor:
- Producingdailypositionreportscoveringmarketriskexposuresfromtradingandhedgingactivity
- Deliveringdailymark-to-marketP&Lreportingwithclear,commerciallyrelevantcommentary
- Takingownershipofspecificproductareas,includingdailyreporting,month-endcloseandreconciliation
- Validatingmarketdata,pricinginputsandvaluationmethodologiesusedwithinP&Lreporting
- WorkingcloselywithFinancetoreconcilemiddleofficeP&Lagainstmonthlyaccounts
- PartneringwithTrading,CommercialandFinanceteamstoensureexposuresandperformanceareclearlyunderstood
- Identifyinggapsinexistingreportinganddevelopingimprovedprocesses,controlsandMI
- SupportingthedevelopmentandimplementationofETRM-relatedenhancements
- Actingasaseniorpointofreferencewithintheteamandhelpingtoraisestandardsacrossreportingandcontrols
- Supportingadhocrisk,controlandbusinessimprovementprojects
SkillsandExperience
Thesuccessfulcandidatewilllikelyhave:
- SignificantexperienceinProductControlwithinphysicaloil,refinedproductsoracloselyrelatedcommoditytradingenvironment
- Strongunderstandingofphysicaltrading,hedging,exposuresandmark-to-marketP&L
- AdvancedExcelskillsandstrongdataanalysiscapability
- Excellentattentiontodetailandarobustcontrolmindset
- Theconfidencetochallengestakeholdersandholdthebusinesstoaccountwhererequired
- Strongcommunicationskills,withtheabilitytoexplainriskandP&Lclearlytonon-riskaudiences
- Experienceactingasaseniorteammember,mentororpointofreference
