The role has Key Responsibilities:Take a leading role in the preparation process of the Annual Financial Statements of the Chanel Limited Group, in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (“IFRS”), within our financial statement reporting tool. Maintain accounting policies and procedures in conformity with IFRS, Chanel reporting requirements, and best practices. Support the adherence to these policies.Required Skills & Qualifications:Qualified (ACA or equivalent) accountant with minimum 2 years of PQE in a similar Group accounting role. Big 4 background preferred.Strong communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) to summarise and explain complex technical accounting issues succinctly.Team player with experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders, resilient and able to respond constructively to challenge and change. Ability to work independently within a team in a multi-task environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint). Experience with FCCS, TM1 and Essbase would be advantageous.Working on complex and large transactions that require research and application of IFRS standards.
