Specialty Doctor General Adult IHBT

Location: Kirklees, Folly Hall Mills, Huddersfield, HD1 3LT.

Employment type: Permanent, full-time, 10 programmed activities per week plus on call (part time may be considered).

The role plays a vital part in ensuring patients receive the care that they need and will be an integral part of the Calderdale and Kirklees acute pathway.

Person Specification

Transport

  • Holds and will use valid UK driving licence or provides evidence of proposed alternative.

Physical Attributes

  • Smart professional appearance.

Qualifications

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research or management.
  • Additional clinical qualifications.
  • Fully registered with the GMC and have a licence to practise or Must have checked GMC eligibility and commenced the application process at the time of NHS Jobs application.
  • Approved under S12 or able to achieve within 6 months of appointment.
  • Spent a minimum of four years (full time or equivalent) in postgraduate medical experience in the UK or equivalent medical experience. At least 2 years experience in psychiatry.
  • In good standing with GMC with respect to warning and conditions on practice.
  • All employees of the Trust are strongly encouraged to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to protect patients. You will be asked to confirm your vaccination status prior to being appointed to this role.
