About the Nursery

Rated Good by Ofsted, South Bermondsey Nursery and Pre‑School provides Early Years education and care to children from birth to 5 years old. We’re located in Bermondsey, not far from Bermondsey underground station and South Bermondsey railway station. We're a bright, modern nursery, with separate rooms and gardens for different age groups. Activities include obstacle courses, cooking, gardening, modelling clay, painting and dialogic reading.

  • Starting salary of £35,012 per annum (full‑time, 40 hours/week, over 4 or 5 days)

You’ll lead and shape your space in a way that reflects your team, the children, and the local community. You’ll lead this in your room, using the social pedagogy to guide you, and bring your uniqueness, ideas and personality into your role to create fun learning experiences for the children.

Qualifications

  • Level 3+ Early Years qualified.
  • Experience as a Room Leader / Room Manager / 3rd in Charge.
  • Ready to live our values through your work: Inspiring, Brave, Nurturing, Fun.
  • Ability to protect and safeguard children in your care.
  • Knowledgeable, passionate and imaginative approach to providing high quality Early Years education and care.
  • Full right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
