We are looking for a dynamic leader with experience in supplier relationship management to enhance our partnerships with appointed companies and the broader construction industry. In this pivotal role, you will shape and implement a supplier engagement strategy that upholds our Gold Standard Verification, supporting LHCPG’s mission to deliver better lives and places through quality procurement solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Develop and implement a supplier engagement strategy to align supplier performance with client needs and support long-term growth.
  • Act as the senior point of contact for appointed companies and the broader supplier market, fostering strong, collaborative relationships.
  • Lead post-delivery framework management to ensure client expectations are met and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Facilitate framework alliance meetings to share best practices, evaluate performance, and drive innovation.
  • Collaborate on pre-tender engagement activities to broaden our supplier reach and enhance the Group’s profile.
  • Design and implement performance measurement metrics to track and improve supplier performance.
  • Champion social value initiatives in collaboration with the Group Social Value Manager.
  • Represent LHCPG at regional and national industry events to strengthen relationships and raise our profile.

What You Need

  • Demonstrable experience in supplier relationship management or a related role within the construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of public sector procurement and pre-tendered frameworks.
  • Ability to develop strategic and actionable plans to drive supplier engagement and performance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • A working knowledge of social value sectors and delivering community benefits through procurement.
  • Desirable: Degree in a technical discipline, CIOB accreditation, or CSCS accreditation.
