Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical service in the specialty to designated hospitals, responsible for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of accidents and acute emergencies.
  • Care for patients in your charge and ensure the proper functioning of the department in line with the Department’s Operational Policy.
  • Supervise and manage junior medical staff professionally.
  • Participate in rota to ensure cover of the Emergency Unit at the University Hospital of Wales and Minor Injuries Unit.
  • Support a 24‑hour shop‑floor rota as part of a team of junior doctors.

Contract and Working Pattern

Banding anticipated at the Wales contract rate. Working pattern details will be provided prior to appointment. Location: Cardiff, Wales.
