Electrical Commissioning Engineer
Severn Trent Framework – Sheffield
Location: Sheffield. Hours: 45 hours per week (with some flexibility).

Responsibilities
- Inspecting and testing electrical power and control systems, including motors, inverter drives, flow meters, and instrumentation.
- Carrying out functional testing of systems and wet commissioning of pumps, blowers, and compressors.
- Identifying and resolving electrical issues through effective troubleshooting and fault finding.
- Completing detailed commissioning reports and marked‑up as‑built drawings to support project handover.
- Ensuring all commissioning activities comply with Electrical Site Safety Rules and Health and Safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 qualification and ECS (JIB) Gold Card.
- Experience commissioning water MEICA projects and knowledge of wastewater treatment processes.
- Qualified to carry out Authorised Person (LV) duties.
- Strong technical skills in electrical engineering with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team and building positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
