Responsibilities
- The role is predominantly based external to the Company facility (mainly within the UK but on occasion it can be outside the UK).
- The role involves the sales of fabric, metallic, and rubber expansion joints and RKS to End user, OEM and 3rd party customers.
- The ongoing selling of service concept, including occasionally service job, and replacement of expansion joints is a key addition to the above responsibility:
- Integral role within the UK external sales team.
- Liaising with the Regional Sales Manager UK.
- Submitting quotations to customers.
- Logging of all sales data, enquiries, visits etc. and customer information via C4C.
- Checking dimensional measurements, note misalignment.
- Undertake site survey of expansion joints (mapping, condition report).
- Preparation of visit reports, and mapping of customer locations.
- Input into budget preparation.
- Participation in sales meetings.
- Customer liaison.
- Service visits and planning maintenance outages.
- Proactive / problem solving on customer needs.
- Management of individual customer base.
Qualifications
- 3 years of expansion joint experience.
- Knowledge of Static Sealing Solution portfolio.
- Ideally knowledge of product related inspection and service execution.
- Ability to take business-oriented decisions.
- Know-how in understanding technical requirements.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience with change-management processes.
