We are currently supporting a highly innovative UK drone company working on cutting-edge technology for sensitive defence programmes. Following major growth and the launch of their next-generation platform, they’re expanding their manufacturing operation and looking for a hands-on Production / Manufacturing Manager to help scale the function.
This is not a "sit behind a desk" management role. They need someone who can:
- Lead from the shop floor – overseeing technicians, assembly operations, tooling, layouts, pilot production lines.
- Help build a scalable manufacturing environment in a fast-moving setting.
- The environment would suit someone from a smaller aerospace, drone, robotics, or advanced manufacturing business who is comfortable working with pace, autonomy, and limited process/documentation.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving are key.
Requirements
- No specific education requirements are needed for this, however it is beneficial if you have HNC, HND, Bachelors, Masters or PhD in a related engineering, manufacturing or production field.
- Any Drone, UAV or related aerospace experience is also highly beneficial
