Your Role

The Xceptor Delivery Team delivers varied Xceptor projects across the financial services industry, from short deliverables and consultancy opportunities to longer‑term strategic change and transformation projects for new and existing clients. The team provides expertise in how Xceptor can be configured and deployed to solve our client’s business problems. The team is typically involved from project inception through to go‑live, helping clients analyse, configure, test, deploy and expand their Xceptor platform.

As a Senior Implementation Consultant you will be responsible for ensuring that key relationships with clients are developed and maintained, assisting them from project inception to go‑live. You will gather customer requirements by liaising with business teams to produce the right specifications, before configuring our product to meet the needs of our clients and managing the full development cycle and subsequent implementation. You will be integral to delivering the projects you work on.

What You’ll Be Doing

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert guidance to clients throughout project delivery, from requirements gathering to solution implementation.
  • Design, configure, build, and test technical solutions ensuring high‑quality documentation and best practices.
  • Ensure solution design and configuration quality, oversee coding standards, code reviews, and project test strategies.
  • Lead demos, manage releases, and resolve technical issues, acting as an escalation point when needed.
  • Intervene in significant or persistent issues, developing effective plans to resolve challenges and instill best practices.
  • Communicate proactively with clients, project managers, and technical teams, keeping stakeholders informed and concerns addressed.
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive team culture by mentoring peers and encouraging knowledge sharing.

Who we’re looking for

Required Education & Experience

University degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Engineering, or related field.

Experience with programming (preferably in object‑oriented languages such as C#, C++, Java, or Python), relational databases (preferably SQL Server), and XML.

Knowledge of Excel or Access would be beneficial, as the software allows users to transfer Excel skills.

Relevant experience in a customer‑facing role gained with a software solutions organization would be highly desirable.
