About the Role
As a Level 4 qualified therapist/counsellor, you’ll work in one‑to‑one settings with young people, providing clinical assessments and interventions. You’ll also engage with the wider school community to strengthen skills, promote understanding of child mental health, and support early intervention.
Located in the Woodlands, the Durham County Council provision for permanently excluded pupils, those identified as close to permanent exclusion, and those who cannot attend school because of health needs. This post is for KS4.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support and assessment to young people in one‑to‑one contexts.
- Engage with the school community to promote child mental health.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of programmes for young people.
- Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen skills and promote early intervention.
