About the Role

Data Science Manager – Growth Analytics. Lead analytics for Cleo’s Product Growth pillar, guiding acquisition, onboarding, conversion, retention and expansion. • Pillar leadership:
    • Build discovery and experimentation road‑maps across acquisition, onboarding, conversion and retention.

  • Data foundations:
    • Champion high‑quality instrumentation, clear metric definitions and data hygiene.
    • Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to prioritise modelling needs.
    • Build dashboards and tools that empower squads without constant analyst intervention.

About you

Must‑have

  • 7+ years in product data science or analytics with a track record of improving user and commercial outcomes.
  • Proven experience in product analytics – onboarding, activation, conversion funnels, retention – in consumer products.
  • Experience leading a high‑performing team of 2–3 or more data scientists/analysts.
  • Strong influence and communication; able to tell a clear, structured data story and create alignment with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong experimentation skills – designing, interpreting large‑scale A/B tests and guiding best practices.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python, comfortable working with modern analytics tools and workflows.
  • End‑to‑end ownership from tracking definition to analysis and decision support.

Nice‑to‑have

  • Experience in fintech, personal finance or high‑growth consumer subscription products.
  • Experience establishing lightweight analytics standards (metric definitions, experiment reviews, decision frameworks) across multiple squads.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation (base + equity) and regular reviews aligned to OKR cycles.
  • AX4 level pay: £94,059‑£119,128 (hybrid) or £88,938‑£113,489 (remote).
  • Fast‑growing tech startup backed by top VC firms.
  • Clear progression plan with growth opportunities, support and challenges.
  • Flexibility and health‑first culture with hybrid options and travel support.
  • Company‑wide performance reviews every four months.
  • Generous pay increases, equity top‑ups and up to 30 days annual leave plus extra for tenure.
  • 1 month paid sabbatical after four years and a 6 % employer‑matched pension.
  • Online mental health support and comprehensive insurance (medical, dental, life).
  • Enhanced parental leave, workplace nursery scheme, regular socials, and access to technology resources.
  • Additional perks: OpenAI subscription coverage and more.
