Head of Procurement

I'm currently recruiting for a Head of Procurement role for a manufacturing business based in the Northampton area. This is a standout opportunity to shape and lead procurement within a growing organisation at a pivotal stage, with responsibility across both aftermarket and indirect spend.

As Head of Procurement, you'll sit at the heart of the business connecting strategy, supply chain, and performance. You'll lead the transformation of procurement into a strategic, value-driving function, influencing key decisions and supporting growth in a competitive automotive environment.

The role

• Lead and evolve procurement across aftermarket and indirect categories
• Develop and deliver a clear procurement strategy aligned to business goals
• Build strong supplier partnerships across parts, services, and indirect spend
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team
• Drive innovation, cost efficiencies, and continuous improvement
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders

• Proven procurement leadership experience (ideally in manufacturing or automotive)
• Strong background across aftermarket and/or indirect spend
• A driven, strategic leader with a hands-on approach
• Excellent stakeholder management and commercial acumen
