At Inspire Wellbeing, we believe food is more than a meal, it's a moment of comfort, care and community. We're currently looking for a Cook to join our team and help create a warm, welcoming environment for the people we support.
This is more than just cooking. As a Cook, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the health and wellbeing of residents, preparing meals that are nutritious, personalised and full of flavour.
What You'll Be Doing
- Planning and preparing balanced, varied meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen and food storage areas
- Managing food budgets and ordering supplies efficiently
- Supporting mealtimes by serving meals and ensuring a positive, dignified dining experience
- Contributing to the overall atmosphere of care and respect within the service
- Working flexibly across services when required, including weekends
What You'll Bring? A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
? Experience working in a kitchen or catering environment
? Strong knowledge of food safety and health & safety regulations
? The ability to plan menus and manage food stock efficiently
? A caring, person-centred approach and willingness to work as part of a team
? Flexibility to cover shifts when needed, including weekends
