ERP Engineer - Trowbridge, Wiltshire, United Kingdom

Salary:42,839-45,091

Hours per week: 37 hours

Interview date: Wednesday 3rd June 2026

We are looking for an experienced ERP Engineer to join our Oracle ERP Support and Development team, providing handson technical support and development for the Councils Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) platforms.

In this role, you will act as a senior technical specialist, taking ownership of complex incidents, service requests and change activity across the Oracle landscape. You will diagnose and resolve technical issues, assess change impacts, and communicate clearly with stakeholders to maintain a stable, secure and highly available ERP platform supporting around 4,500 council staff and 30,000 external users.

You will also play a key role in the technical management of the platform, covering system configuration, integrations, security and the technical impact of Oracles monthly and quarterly release cycles. This includes leading technical testing and regression activity, and ensuring that fixes, enhancements and configuration changes safeguard data security, system integrity and service continuity.

The role involves close collaboration with thirdparty suppliers and internal teams across ICT, Finance, HR and Payroll. Youll provide daytoday technical leadership within the support function while contributing to continuous improvement, helping the Council maximise the value of its ERP investment.

Proven handson experience is required in supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Integration Cloud, alongside a solid background in integrations and data flows, user administration and security configuration, and technical tooling such as SQL, SFTP, PowerShell and VBA. Experience operating within structured incident, problem and change management processes is essential, alongside a broad understanding of wider ICT principles, sound judgement and the confidence to prioritise effectively in a businesscritical environment.

In return, you will have the opportunity to work on a largescale, highimpact enterprise platform in a role that directly supports public services and the people of Wiltshire.
