At Sense, we don't just provide care; we champion independence, and we're looking for a Communicator Guide to join our Service in Exeter, Devon, at 14 per hour.

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to make a real, consistent difference in one person's life. As a Communicator Guide, you'll act as the eyes and ears of the person you support; facilitating communication, providing guidance, and enabling access to their community. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role, with mileage reimbursed.

In this role, you'll be:

The role is permanent and averages 5 hours per week. You'll need to be available every Tuesday, with shifts falling between 3:30pm and 9:00pm to allow for travel time either side of the activity. If you're looking for a consistent, meaningful commitment that's easy to plan around, this could be the perfect fit.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to:

No prior experience of working with people with sensory impairment is necessary; full training will be provided.
