About the role

Do you want to use your digital systems expertise to support a pioneering global health research programme tackling one of the world's deadliest diseases?

We are seeking a Digital Systems Manager to join the Faculty of Natural Sciences Digital Services Team at Imperial College London, dedicated exclusively to the internationally recognised Target Malaria project. In this varied and impactful role, you will lead the development, support and continuous improvement of digital systems and services that enable collaborative scientific research across partner institutions in Africa, Europe and North America.

You will play a key role in shaping and supporting Target Malaria's Microsoft 365, SharePoint and Power Platform environments, ensuring secure, effective and user-focused digital services that support the project's operational, scientific and regulatory objectives.

What you would be doing

As Digital Systems Manager (Target Malaria), you will act as the dedicated digital systems specialist for the Target Malaria project, working closely with project stakeholders, researchers and professional services colleagues to deliver high-quality IT and digital solutions.

Target Malaria is a not-for-profit international research consortium developing and sharing innovative genetic technologies to reduce malaria transmission. The project brings together scientists, operational teams and professional specialists from across Africa, Europe and North America in pursuit of safe, evidence-driven and responsible scientific innovation.

This role is based at Imperial's South Kensington Campus, with occasional travel to the Silwood Park Campus in Ascot as required.

This role is offered on a full time, fixed-term basis until 31 December 2029, with the possibility of extension subject to funding and project requirements. Staff will normally be expected to spend 60% of their time onsite.
