Building Services Engineer - Electrical - Prescot

As a Building Services Designer - Electrical you will be responsible for the design and specification of building services systems and equipment across a range of projects, delivering effective and compliant building services solutions to support successful project delivery.

Role Details:
Potential annual-on-target bonus of up to 5% subject to business performance
Role based: Flexible
Contract type: Permanent
Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year.

In this role you will be required to:

Develop electrical designs from concept through to practical completion, ensuring systems integrate with the building layout, mechanical systems and comply with regulations.
Collaborate with Design & Engineering, project teams and contractors to ensure building services are delivered effectively.
Produce design information in both 2D and 3D formats, in line with systems and protocols.
Create and author standard and project-specific specifications to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Review and comment on technical submittals to confirm compliance with requirements, standards and legislation.
Prepare measurements and estimates for bills of material to support cost management within projects.

Our Ideal Candidate

Knowledge and experience of electrical systems and components.
Understanding of UK, European and sector-specific specifications and standards.
Awareness of commissioning standards and processes.
Ability to produce accurate design information in 2D and 3D using relevant systems and protocols.
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to support cost, quality and programme outcomes.
