European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading semiconductor company, based in Cambridge, who are looking for a talented Atlassian Developer to join their team.


This role is an initial 10 month contract, inside IR35 and will require you to be onsite in Cambridge 2 days per week.


Responsibilities as Atlassian Developer :

  • Turning requirements into solutions; coordinating testing and user satisfaction.
  • Developing and maintaining tools that enable efficient engineering delivery.
  • Owning process controls to protect the integrity and performance of environments.
  • Guiding the support team on how to address complicated requests and taking decisions to facilitate the right outcomes.


Requirements:

  • You will have a background in configuring and administering Jira cloud and Confluence cloud apps. You can define and deliver work packages autonomously, applying project management & software development techniques, i.e. programming, business analysis, quality assurance and configuration management.
  • Good knowledge of Groovy, Scriptrunner and Jira automation.
  • You excel in establishing relationships across large organisations, take pride in earning trust and building a reputation as a 'go-to' person. You collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, breaking down barriers to ensure people, requirements and commitments are aligned.
  • You proactively seek opportunities, involve teams, design solutions, document processes, gain sign-off and collaborate effectively through to completion, showing superb attention to detail.
  • You welcome a challenge and question the status quo, striving to recommend and implement quality improvements.
