We are partnering with a global health leader in diagnostics and healthcare technology to recruit an experienced Account Manager – Managed Service Contracts covering Bucks–Oxford–Berks region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially driven professional with strong experience in diagnostics, pathology, and NHS accounts to manage complex contracts and drive value across a strategic region.


With millions of diagnostic tests processed daily, this organisation plays a critical role in enabling smarter clinical decision-making and improved patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of Managed Service Contracts and supplier sub-contracts
  • Support NHS customer supply chain requirements across multiple sites
  • Drive cost savings and value optimisation across third-party suppliers
  • Lead and coordinate tenders, contract extensions, and renewals
  • Conduct mini-tenders and manage supplier pricing submissions
  • Track supplier performance (financial & operational KPIs)
  • Maintain and update customer and supplier contracts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Tender, Service & Implementation teams
  • Attend and lead customer contract review meetings


Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in diagnostics / IVD / laboratory environment (haematology, pathology, molecular diagnostics)
  • Strong understanding of Managed Service Contracts
  • Experience working with NHS customers and complex tender processes
  • Background in procurement, contract management, or supply chain
  • Demonstrated success in high-value negotiations and stakeholder management
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and contract governance
  • Biomedical Science background or CIPS qualification advantageous
