The Role
As a Technical Sales Engineer – RF Test Instruments, you will work closely with RF and microwave design engineers, understanding customer requirements and recommending tailored technical solutions.
You’ll be involved in:
- Developing customer relationships across the UK
- Discussing RF and microwave test requirements
- Supporting lead generation and quotation activities
- Managing follow-ups and order conversions
- Working alongside engineering and sales teams
- Promoting industry-leading RF test and measurement solutions
This is an ideal opportunity for engineers looking to transition from hands-on engineering into technical sales, with full product training provided.
Key Skills & Experience
We are looking for candidates with:
- HNC/HND/Degree in Electronics, RF, Microwave Engineering, or related technical discipline
- Knowledge of RF or microwave test instrumentation
Familiarity with:
- Network Analysers
- Spectrum Analysers
- Signal Sources
- Calibration Equipment
- Experience within RF/microwave circuit design, test & measurement, DAS architecture, RAN, semiconductors, amplifiers, coaxial or surface mount components
- Ability to understand RF block diagrams and customer applications
- Strong communication and customer-facing skills
- Organised approach with good time management and teamwork abilities
Requirements
- UK residency essential
- Full UK driving licence required
- Willingness to travel across the UK
- Access to a vehicle beneficial
