Our client, a growing engineering and manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Warwick. The successful candidate will have strong 3D CAD experience, a practical understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes, and the ability to deliver innovative engineering solutions.

Job Description

• Design and develop sheet metal components, fabricated assemblies, and automation machinery

• Produce detailed 3D models and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks

• Work closely with production and fabrication teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective

• Support projects from concept through to manufacture and installation

• Ensure designs comply with relevant engineering standards and specifications

• Liaise with internal departments and customers to meet project requirements and deadlines

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and product development activities

• Provide technical support during manufacturing and assembly stages

Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer

• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks

• Experience with sheet metal fabrication and automation equipment design

• Good understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline

• Full UK driving licence (desirable)
