This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team in Greenwich and work directly alongside the Head of Department on a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions, commercial agreements, commercial contracts, and shareholder agreements.
The Role
We are seeking a 0–3 PQE Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to support the Head of Department across a broad spectrum of matters. You will gain early responsibility, direct client contact, and the chance to develop your skills in both corporate and commercial transactions and day‑to‑day commercial agreements work.
This role is ideal for someone who is commercially minded, proactive, and keen to progress within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting on a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions, including:
- Share and asset purchases and sales
- Corporate restructuring
- Shareholder agreements
- Commercial contracts
- Loan agreements
- Supporting due diligence and transaction management (including data room organisation)
- Preparing ancillary documents and Companies House filings
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements, including T&Cs, consultancy agreements, NDAs, and supply agreements
- Conducting legal research and providing practical, commercially focused advice
- Providing Independent Legal Advice on personal guarantee and joint borrower/sole proprietor matters
- Liaising directly with clients, third parties, and professional advisers
- Assisting with precedents, departmental processes, and business development initiatives
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales), 0–3 PQE
- Experience in corporate and/or commercial law (training or post‑qualification)
- Strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Commercially aware with a solutions‑driven mindset
- Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
Desirable
- Experience working with SMEs, owner‑managed businesses, or entrepreneurs
- Exposure to transactional corporate work
- Interest in building long‑term client relationships
