Clinical Services Lead – Young Crisis Hub | £45,000–£55,000 | London (Hackney Wick)
Are you a senior Mental Health Nurse ready to step into a highly visible leadership role at the forefront of crisis care for children and young people?
We're looking for a Clinical Services Lead to join the Young Crisis Hub; a specialist service supporting young people with complex mental health needs. This is a pivotal role combining senior clinical oversight, safeguarding leadership and governance, with the opportunity to deputise for our Group Head of Governance, Quality & Safeguarding.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading clinical quality and safety across the Young Crisis Hub, with regular on-site presence in Hackney Wick
- Acting as a senior safeguarding lead, overseeing concerns, incidents and liaison with local authorities, LADO and commissioners
- Driving CQC compliance and inspection readiness across the service
- Supporting governance, risk management and incident investigation — promoting a learning culture rooted in PSIRF principles
- Mentoring and performance-managing senior clinical staff, championing psychological safety and values-led leadership
- Working collaboratively with commissioners, social workers and partner agencies to shape safe, effective service delivery
What we're looking for:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (active NMC registration)
- Significant senior clinical leadership experience in mental health; ideally CAMHS or crisis settings Strong working knowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance and CQC frameworks
- Able to manage complexity and risk in high-pressure environments with confidence
- A compassionate, trauma-informed leader who holds both people and standards to account
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 Hours: Full-time, Mon–Fri with on-call responsibilities Location: Hackney Wick (2 days in-office/site visits, with flexibility)
