Senior Construction Solicitor

We are working with a leading international law firm who are seeking a Senior Associate Solicitor to join their Construction practice within their London office.

The Role

The successful candidate will join dynamic and globally recognised Construction team, working across a spectrum of non-contentious construction matters within a range of sectors, including marketing, leisure, and large-scale residential and commercial development. The candidate’s duties will include advising on, drafting and negotiating amendments to standard form building contracts, conducting due diligence reviews of collateral warranty/third party rights packages for commercial tenants, and inputting into construction aspects of agreements for lease and licences to alter for commercial tenants.

The candidate will also demonstrate a willingness to participate in business development initiatives while managing client relationships.

Essential Criteria

• 5+ PQE;
• Strong background in construction within a medium to large commercial firm;
• Excellent commercial awareness;
• Outstanding academics;
• Technically excellent;
• Negotiation skills;
• Willingness to become involved in business development;
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
