Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, supporting the team in delivering exceptional food and high-quality events that meet our exacting standards. This role offers real potential for career progression within a fast-paced and exciting hospitality environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Head Chef in designing and developing innovative menus that align with current trends and client expectationsLead, supervise, and motivate the kitchen team to maintain efficient operations and consistently high standardsOversee food preparation and production, ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulationsTake an active role in cooking, presentation, and plating to ensure dishes meet specification and quality standardsMonitor stock levels, place orders, and manage storage effectively to reduce wasteMaintain a clean, organised, and compliant kitchen environment in line with health and safety guidelinesTrain and mentor team members on food safety, preparation techniques, and service standardsWork collaboratively with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless event executionSkills & ExperienceDemonstrated experience in a supervisory role within a professional kitchenStrong background in event catering and producing high-quality dishes across a range of cuisinesProven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead by exampleHigh level of competence in food preparation, cooking, and presentationSound knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen compliancePrevious experience in event catering or hospitality is highly desirableAbility to perform effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environmentThis position is ideal for an ambitious and motivated chef looking to develop their career within a growing event catering business.
