This role includes the following responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining data pipelines to ingest, transform, and curate data from multiple sources.
- Using Databricks, SQL, and analytical tools to create high‑quality datasets suitable for insight and visualisation.
- Producing internal and client‑facing dashboards and visualisations that provide operational insight and business value.
- Working with stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements and translating them into effective data solutions.
- Supporting the use of data to improve operational performance, service quality, and decision making.
- Ensuring data solutions align to security, governance, and data quality standards.
- Collaborating with architects, platform teams, and operations teams to ensure solutions are scalable and supportable.
- Supporting the evolution of data platforms, including optimisation, cost control, and performance improvement.
- Contributing to documentation, standards, and best practices for data engineering and analytics.
You can bring your whole self to work. Capgemini values inclusion and strives to create a welcoming environment for everyone.
Your skills and experience
- Proven data engineering experience in enterprise/client environments, with strong Databricks expertise.
- Solid understanding of data lakehouse architectures and analytical platforms.
- Advanced SQL skills for transforming and analysing large datasets.
- Experience designing data models and datasets for reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Skilled in working with diverse data sources and applying data governance, security, and quality principles.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and agile delivery experience; ability to explain data to non‑technical stakeholders.
