- Maintain professional service standards
? 4. Documentation & Reporting
- Complete service reports and job sheets
- Support warranty claims with evidence (photos, parts, reports)
- Record parts used and work completed
? 5. Team & Department Coordination
- Work with:
- Parts department (ordering components)
- Service managers and workshop schedulers
- Ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time
? Skills & Requirements
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- Heavy plant machinery
- Hydraulics & electrics
- Diesel engines
- Ability to troubleshoot faults independently
Experience
- Experience in one of the following is usually preferred:
- Construction equipment
- Agricultural machinery
- Commercial vehicles or forklifts
Soft Skills
- Problem-solving ability
- Good communication with customers
- Ability to work independently (especially field roles)
- Time management and organisation
