The site, which has stood in the heart of the community for 15 years, is a large, fully automated production facility targeted to produce 105 million units per annum.

About the role

As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for maintaining automated machinery such as ABB & Fanuc controlled robotics, packaging lines, conveyors, mixing machinery, presses, kilns and more.

  • Planned preventive maintenance
  • Reacting to breakdowns and remedial repair work
  • Project work and installation
  • Mechanical fault finding
  • Mechanical strip and rebuild
  • Root cause analysis and continuous improvement

About you

  • Experience working within a factory environment
  • Ability to fault‑find to component level (Mechanical)
  • Comfortable working in an industrial environment
  • Happy to work on day‑and‑night rotation
  • Holds a recognised level 3 or higher qualification – City & Guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC
