Managing Quantity Surveyor

Overview

Are you a Managing Quantity Surveyor looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to join a tier 1 build contractor? The North West regional turnover is ~£280m and is part of a larger UK Group. They specialise across high rise residential, student accommodation, commercial, industrial, leisure and stadia, retail and education projects. Sites range from £20m – £100m+ in value.

Responsibilities

• Report into a Regional Commercial Manager.
• Oversee a leading RC frame student accommodation project valued over £100m.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Managing Quantity Surveyor within the build sector on similar value projects.
• Academically qualified with a BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Background within a main contractor or developer environment.
• Confident, commercially astute with good communication skills to negotiate and manage subcontractors effectively.
