ROLE: Electrical/Mechanical Supervisor
HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. 8am – 5pm.

We're looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to deliver planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a commercial/industrial site, ensuring building services operate safely, reliably and efficiently.

Role responsibilities

  • Undertake planned and reactive maintenance on electrical building services including LV systems, lighting, small power, distribution, BMS and associated equipment
  • Support the safe operation and repair of all M&E and fabric services on site, working within Permit to Work systems, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work
  • Participate in the on-call rota, including out-of-hours and weekend work where intrusive maintenance is required
  • Proactively identify faults, elevate health & safety concerns and support energy efficiency initiatives
  • Use CAFM systems and handheld devices to complete reports, update work orders and monitor subcontractor performance

Required qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or Maintenance
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
  • IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to work towards)

What we're looking for

  • Significant experience (ideally 5 years) working within electrical building services in commercial or industrial environments
  • Good all-round knowledge of mechanical building services
  • Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and compliance requirements
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work independently and as part of a site team
  • IT-literate, numerate and comfortable using CAFM and digital reporting tools
