We’re hiring for a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a skilled and experienced workforce at an ultra‑modern manufacturing facility based in Stockport.

Responsibilities
- Carrying out scheduled, planned, reactive and preventative maintenance activities.
- Ensuring assets and equipment are available to operative for the correct level of activity needed for manufacturing.
- Providing in depth knowledge on PLC, invertors and drives to fault diagnostics, maintenance and repairs.
- Investigating breakdowns by generating reports, fault finding, using diagnostic skills and providing leadership, support and technical support.
- Writing reports that input problem‑solving solutions, identify root causes and assess safety, reliability and performance.
- Working closely with line managers to assess failed techniques.
- Working closely with line managers and a variety of departments to minimise production disruptions and downtime.
Qualifications
- Experience with CNC machine maintenance.
- In depth knowledge of PLC, invertors, and drives.
- Previous experience in report writing.
- The ability to demonstrate problem‑solving and discuss/demonstrate techniques.
- Previously worked in a modern lean manufacturing environment.
