  • Your role will be handling a mix of trusts and estate litigation cases involving:

  • Will disputes and testamentary document interpretation
  • Claims against executors, including removal and replacement
  • Disputes between executors and administration applications
  • Inheritance Act claims
  • Trust document variation and annulment
  • Claims against trustees for breach of fiduciary duty
  • Proprietary estoppel and constructive trust claims
  • Professional negligence in private client work
  • Requirements:

  • Experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor or Legal Executive, likely NQ-2 years PQE, or alternatively a broad litigator who has gained experience in wills, trusts and estates disputes with a passion for this area
  • Outstanding technical knowledge, likely gained in a similar environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with multi-jurisdictional estates/trusts and contentious Court of Protection cases would be advantageous. Non-contentious private client experience would also be beneficial.
