LOGISTICS SERVICE OPERATIVE

We are looking to recruit a Logistics Service Operative to join our friendly team at a prestigious building in Cheltenham to undertake a range of Logistics activities which provide for the collection, carriage and delivery of a range of items. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 8 hour shifts between 6:30am and 4pm.
Responsibilities
To carry out manual handling tasks.
Appropriately account for logistics tasks in order to maintain an audit trail.
Drive vehicles and operate mechanical handling equipment on and off site.
Undertake detached duty at off-site UK locations as appropriate, while such duties may include periods where it is necessary to be accommodated away from home (subsistence costs met in accordance with G4S policy).
Continuously develop and improve daily tasks as required.
Attend all appropriate training and development as required for this role.
Appropriately wear and maintain all items of Personal Protective Equipment.
Carry out vehicle and machinery inspections before use and complete the associated paperwork.
Report all unsafe conditions, damage, near misses to the Appropriate Person - whether or not there are any personal injuries, in order that remedial action can be taken.

Good verbal and written communication.

Experience of Microsoft Office Suite.
FLT Licence.
Full driving licence.
