Transport Planner - 45k

VANRATH are assisting with the recruitment of a Transport Planner for a major company that specialises in Logistics.

This is a Full-time position. Both day shift and night shift available.

Permanent position - Position of work is Dungannon

Salary:

£40,000 - £45,000 + Fantastic Benefits package & Growth Opportunities

Duties include: Planning and coordinating transportation routes for efficient delivery of goods

Monitoring and tracking deliveries to ensure on-time deliveries

Collaborating with drivers, programmers and customers, to ensure timely and accurate deliveries

Maximise asset utilisation whilst adhering to appropriate legal/regulatory requirements

Resolving any transportation issues or delays that may arise

Maintaining accurate records of transportation activities

Skills:

Strong organisational and time management skills

Excellent problem-solving abilities

Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in using transportation management software and tools

Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years Transport Planning Experience

Strong IT skills: Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook

Good written and oral communication skills
