What You'll Be Doing
As a Salesforce Engineer II, you'll be a core contributor within a collaborative engineering team responsible for the development and evolution of the Salesforce platform. This is a hands-on role where you'll design and deliver custom solutions, work across multiple Salesforce Clouds, and bring a modern development mindset including CI/CD practices and AI-assisted tooling to your day-to-day work. You'll have the autonomy to take ownership of meaningful work and help shape the way the team builds and delivers.
Your Impact
- Design, build, and deploy custom solutions across the Salesforce platform, including Sales, Service, and Community Cloud
- Develop Apex classes, triggers, Flows, and Lightning Web Components to meet business requirements
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP, Bulk, and Metadata APIs
- Apply best practices across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to deployment and post-release support
- Leverage CI/CD pipelines, behaviour-driven development, and modern CLI-based tooling in your day-to-day workflow
- Use AI-assisted development tools to increase velocity, while applying critical judgment to validate outputs
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions
- Support release management across test and production environments
- Contribute actively to sprint planning, estimation sessions, and team retrospectives
What We're Looking For
Essential
- 35 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Strong command of Apex, triggers, Flows, and Lightning Web Components
- Proven experience working with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Bulk, Metadata)
- Comfortable working with Git, SFDX, and CLI-based development workflows
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and the ability to critically evaluate their outputs
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, self-directed approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across teams
Desirable
- Salesforce Platform Developer certification
- Experience in Agile or Scrum delivery environments
- Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
