We are looking for an experienced Overseas Sales Engineer to join our growing international business team. This role is ideal for someone with strong B2B sales experience in the solar, renewable energy, electrical, or related industrial sectors, with a passion for business development and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and expand business opportunities within the UK solar and renewable energy market.
- Identify new customers, distributors, EPC partners, and strategic business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, channel partners, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify industry trends.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, proposal preparation, negotiation, to contract closure.
- Collaborate closely with technical, project, and product teams to provide customized solutions.
- Participate in industry exhibitions, conferences, and customer meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Renewable Energy, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2–5 years of B2B sales experience in solar PV, renewable energy, electrical products, EPC, or industrial solutions.
- Strong understanding of the UK energy / solar market is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel for business meetings and industry events.
