Job Title: Procurement Excellence Process Manager
Location: Manchester (Hybrid)
Contract: 24 Months
Rate: Up to £45 per hour PAYE
Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Excellence Process Manager to support global procurement process improvement and master data initiatives within a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment. This role will focus on driving Procure-to-Pay (P2P) harmonisation, continuous improvement, automation, and data governance activities across global sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support harmonisation and improvement of P2P processes across multiple sites
- Develop and maintain Level 5 work instructions and process documentation
- Drive procurement master data strategy and process optimisation initiatives
- Support implementation and enhancement of SAP ERP and SAP Ariba systems
- Maintain reporting tools, dashboards, KPI tracking, and data validation activities
- Collaborate with Procurement, Accounts Payable, IT, and Supply Chain teams
- Deliver continuous improvement projects to increase automation and process efficiency
- Support procurement analytics and reporting activities using Power BI and SAP tools
Requirements:
- Strong project management experience within procurement environments
- Experience working within P2P, Accounts Payable, or Shared Services functions
- Strong understanding of upstream/downstream procurement processes
- Advanced knowledge of SAP ERP, SAP Ariba, and Power BI
- Pharma or life sciences industry experience preferred
- Experience documenting and harmonising global processes
- Strong analytical and data management skills
- Knowledge of continuous improvement and process compliance activities
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with R, Python, SAS, or other analytical tools
- Understanding of Big Data, machine learning, or data mining concepts
- German or Spanish language skills would be beneficial
