A well-established engineering organisation is currently recruiting for a Strategic Sourcing Buyer to support its growing Procurement function in the Bristol area.


This role will focus on supplier management, cost reduction and strategic sourcing across key commodities.


The successful candidate will be:

  • Developing sourcing strategies aligned to business objectives
  • Managing supplier relationships and performance
  • Delivering cost savings and value engineering initiatives
  • Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
  • Preparing RFQs and negotiating supplier agreements


The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience within Procurement / Supply Chain
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Good analytical and commercial awareness
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
