Senior Executive Assistant
Location: Manchester, United Kingdom (Hybrid) Salary Range: £42,300 - £51,700
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and strategic Senior Executive Assistant to partner with our Senior Executive. This is an ongoing, core operational role critical to the success of our Business Unit. You will go beyond traditional administrative support to act as a true operational partner, managing the business unit's cadence, facilitating leadership governance, and ensuring the executive's time is optimized around our highest business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Support: Take full ownership of the Senior Executive's complex calendar and inbox management, prioritizing tasks based on evolving business needs.
- Leadership Coordination: Coordinate and actively facilitate Business Unit Leadership Team meetings, driving the agenda and continuously improving team governance.
- Event Management: Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of leadership events, including strategic offsite meetings and all-hands gatherings.
- Travel Management: Plan and coordinate comprehensive domestic and international business travel.
- Strategic Alignment: Manage the overall rhythm of the business unit, independently navigating ambiguity to keep operations running smoothly.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience
- Seniority: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience operating at a senior level in executive support, business management, or a similar capacity.
Hard Skills & Systems
- Communication: Fluent in English (both written and verbal) with exceptional written communication skills.
- Project Management: Proven project management capabilities to handle end-to-end event planning and governance.
- Software Proficiency: Expert-level capability with Google Workspace (Google Calendar, Sheets, and Slides).
- Administrative Platforms: Hands-on experience working with modern enterprise systems, including Zoom, Concur, Workday, DocuSign, and Ivalua. (Note: No coding experience is required).
