Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

The basics:

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer – Mechanical

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Leicester – near Syston

Pay: £56,893.20 + overtime = earnings of £60,000 and upwards achievable

Overtime: x1.25 Mon-Sat and 1.5 Sun

Shift: 4on 4off days and nights (2 days 2 nights 4 off) – usually the first month/when getting to know the plant you will work Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm before going on to shift.

Holidays: 21 days

Overview:

With manufacturing facilities located across the globe you will be working in an automated production environment that will involve projects, installations along with planned and re-active maintenance.

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:

• To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
• To provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
• PPM's

The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

• Strong mechanical background maintaining automated machinery ideally within a production environment/similar
