About You
- You’ve got a solid background in HSE management (ideally within manufacturing or engineering)
- You’re NEBOSH / IOSH / IEMA qualified
- Strong understanding of HSE legislation, risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Internal and external auditing experience
- Well organised, practical and able to prioritise your workload
- Happy working independently but equally part of a wider team
About the role
- Oversee day-to-day health, safety, welfare and environmental activity across site
- Support and guide teams on HSE processes, policies and best practice
- Help manage and continuously improve the Integrated Management System (IMS)
- Support compliance with ISO 9001, 45001 and 14001 standards
- Carry out risk assessments, inspections and regular reviews, keeping records up to date
- Be involved in audits and support follow-up actions/improvements
- Identify training needs and manage HSE-related training across the business
- Lead HSE meetings at both shopfloor and management level
- Produce reports and updates on HSE performance for senior leadership
