Leading Financial Advisory Practice


A leading Financial Advisory practice is currently looking to hire a Manager into its Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence team.

The role focuses on advising private equity investors and corporate clients across lower mid-market transactions, typically ranging from £5m–£100m EV, with particularly strong exposure to technology, software and broader mid-market growth businesses.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a highly entrepreneurial and execution-focused environment with significant exposure to live transactions, senior stakeholders and private equity clients.



Key Responsibilities


• Lead and support buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements

• Analyse financial performance, quality of earnings, working capital and key transaction drivers

• Prepare financial due diligence reports, presentations and client deliverables

• Support senior stakeholders throughout live transaction processes

• Conduct sector, market and company-specific analysis

• Interact directly with management teams, private equity investors and external advisors



Requirements


• Approximately 3–5 years of Transaction Services / Financial Due Diligence experience

• Background within Big 4, mid-market advisory or transaction-focused consulting environments

• Strong exposure across lower mid-market private equity and corporate transactions

• Strong financial analysis, accounting and Excel skills

• Good understanding of M&A processes and corporate finance concepts

• ACA / ACCA qualified preferred

• Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced deal environment



Preferred


• Exposure to technology, software or tech-enabled businesses

• Experience working with private equity-backed transactions

• Prior exposure to lender advisory, pre-lending or IBR-related workstreams
