We are a growing company at the forefront of cutting-edge defence engineering.

We require a Safety Engineering Contractor for an initial 6 months with extension to March 2027, responsible for all structural and hydrodynamic elements on all in-service submarines.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing & coordinating hazards, hazard review processes and formulating Forward Action Plans
  • Hazard action grid, updated monthly, for delivery at key safety meetings (ISM Safety and Environmental Committee)
  • Reviewing & updating hazard and risk databases for Structures at least monthly.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in Safety engineering within the defence sector (naval, air, weapons, or equivalent)

Working Arrangements

Hybrid working: office in Bristol and working from home, split approximately 2/3 days in office.
