Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and processes for product development and manufacturing.
- Manage the internal Non-Conforming Report (NCR) system for the purpose of quality assurance.
- Ensure products meet design specifications and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and project management teams to integrate quality principles throughout the product lifecycle.
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in design reviews, process validation, and supplier quality audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Prepare and present detailed quality reports and documentation, communicating findings and recommendations to internal & external stakeholders.
- Support the development and maintenance of quality management systems (QMS) in compliance with industry standards.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of quality methodologies and tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, or similar).
- Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice-to-have qualifications
- Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt.
- Experience with advanced quality planning (APQP, PPAP) or product reliability engineering.
- Familiarity with specific industry standards relevant to energy or power generation (Lloyd’s, BV, ATEX, EX).
- Proficiency in data analysis software and statistical process control tools (Minitab).
- Knowledge of NATO standards such as AQAP 2105, 2110, etc.
