Construction Administrator (Contract)

Location: Manchester (Trafford Park)

Pay rate: £12.71 – £14.00 per hour (paid weekly on Friday)

Duration: Contract until completion of the construction project

Fawkes & Reece is hiring a Construction Administrator for a client in Trafford Park. The role involves completing administrative tasks, tracking and logging documentation for a HMP scheme. Previous construction experience is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Answer and manage incoming calls and emails.
  • Provide administrative support for office and site teams.
  • Prepare and format documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Assist with invoicing, purchase order, and timesheet processes.
  • Track and log incoming and outgoing project documentation and compliance.
  • Manage filing systems (electronic and paper-based).
  • Maintain records of subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Input and update data in company systems.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Previous experience in an administration role.
  • Previous experience in construction.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Confident in using PCs and systems.
  • Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.

Benefits and Pay Details

Contract based. £12.71 to £14.00 per hour depending on experience. Paid weekly on Friday.
