Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

MCS Group is recruiting a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading global manufacturer and help design innovative, high-performance engineering solutions used across the world.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of bespoke machinery & equipment in a busy manufacturing and engineering environment.

What you'll do

• Design and develop innovative mechanical solutions and bespoke equipment
• Produce high quality 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation
• Carry out structural and stress calculations
• Work closely with production teams to bring designs to life
• Drive continuous improvement across existing product ranges

The successful candidate:

• Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• 5+ years' mechanical design engineering experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication
• Strong CAD skills, ideally AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
