About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Procurement Manager to lead and optimise our procurement function. This is a key role within the business, responsible for ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and high-quality sourcing of materials, components, and services to support our offsite manufacturing operations, particularly in the production of bathroom pods.
You will manage the end-to-end procurement process, working closely with internal teams and external suppliers to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsible
- Develop and deliver procurement strategies aligned with business goals, identifying cost-saving and value engineering opportunities
- Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers, ensuring strong relationships, performance, and continuity of supply
- Oversee purchasing and inventory to support production schedules and avoid delays
- Ensure cost control through effective negotiation and market awareness
- Maintain quality, compliance, and adherence to UK regulations and standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, production, and project teams to support delivery and innovation
- Monitor KPIs, maintain accurate records, and utilise ERP/MRP systems for effective procurement manage
Skills & Experience
Essential Criteria
- Strong negotiation skills with high commercial awareness
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior procurement or supply chain role
- Experience working within manufacturing or construction environments
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems such as Business Central and Microsoft Excel
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in modular or offsite manufacturing environments
- Experience sourcing MEP components or building materials
Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
