We are looking for an experienced and confident Facilities Management professional who enjoys leading people, managing complex operations, and ensuring high standards across busy, public-facing environments.

This is an opportunity to join a forwardthinking local authority team responsible for some of Wiltshire Councils most important operational hubs. You will work with skilled colleagues and trusted partners to deliver modern, compliant, and customerfocused facilities services, while supporting the councils wider transformation agenda. The role offers genuine scope to develop professionally, influence service delivery, and work with varied stakeholders across the organisation in a highly visible leadership position, alongside access to learning, development, and the stability and benefits of public sector employment.

On a daytoday basis, you will lead and motivate a multidisciplinary FM operations team, oversee planned and reactive facilities services, and ensure buildings operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with health and safety and statutory requirements. You will monitor performance against KPIs, manage contractors and budgets, contribute to projects such as refurbishments and events, resolve complex facilities issues, and deputise for the FM Operations Manager when required.

You will need significant facilities management experience or a relevant qualification, proven people management capability, strong knowledge of compliance and building operations, excellent organisational and communication skills, and the ability to make sound decisions in a fastpaced environment.

If you are looking to take the next step in your FM leadership career and make a real impact on public services, we would welcome your application.
