Finance Systems Lead (6‑month Fixed Term Contract)

This role supports a period of significant growth and complexity across the finance landscape following a series of acquisitions. The Finance Systems Lead will ensure the NetSuite system accurately reflects accounting reality across a multi‑entity, global group. It is a finance‑led systems role, not a NetSuite administrator position, requiring strong technical accounting judgement in system configuration, integration and use.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance systems workstream for acquired businesses, including chart of accounts mapping, data migration, entity and ledger setup, and go‑live support.
• Own and support NetSuite and its integrations with Salesforce, Zuora, Tipalti, FloQast, Solution 7 and Workday.
• Bridge technical accounting requirements and NetSuite configuration, ensuring correct debit/credit logic, posting rules and controls.
• Partner with Technical Accounting, Financial Reporting and Operational Finance teams to support month‑end, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
• Work with IT, Data teams and external vendors on systems changes and enhancements.
• Support testing, documentation, process improvement and user guidance.
• Help standardise processes across an increasingly complex global finance environment.

Skills and Experience

• Qualified or technically strong accountant with hands‑on ownership of finance systems.
• Experience leading NetSuite integrations, ideally as part of acquisitions or major organisational change.
• Strong understanding of core accounting mechanics (GL, AR, AP, revenue) and ability to challenge system setups that don’t reflect accounting reality.
• Comfortable operating in a multi‑entity, international group.
• Ability to translate accounting requirements into clear system and process decisions.
• Collaborative, pragmatic and confident in fast‑changing environments.
